Our beautiful Grey Barn, after 25 years as a horse barn and boarding facility, is entering a period of transition. Caroline Templeton has chosen to close her Sleepy Star at Ashland Farm boarding business. We are deeply grateful for her partnership over the past several years, and we fully support her decision to do what is best for her and her family. For now, and into the foreseeable future, the Grey Barn will not be used for boarding.

While the barn is closing to boarders, our commitment to the equestrian community remains unchanged. We are delighted that Caroline will continue hosting her Big Cheese Eventing Schooling Shows at Ashland, and we look forward to many more years of working together.

Ashland Farm’s Membership program, which has become such a special part of the life of the farm, will continue as always. Our Guest Barn will also remain open for shows and available to members by reservation.

We are so grateful to all who have supported Ashland through the years — boarders, members, and friends. With your support, we can continue to preserve Ashland as open land — a home for wildlife, and a place where people can ride, gather, and connect with nature.
